A 63m motor cruiser is currentlylooking for A cruise attendant to join the crew of 24. Previous experience aboard ispreferable but not essential. Crew must be Australian or be able to worklegally within Australia. Based in Far North Queensland and preferencewill be given to crew in the area. Entry level candidates will beconsidered although they should have at least 2 years hospitality experience -F&B experience and or/ bar experience as well as Interior detailingexperience is preferable, as housekeeping is a large part of the cruiseattendant’s job.
Current passport, AMSA endorsed certificate of sea safety –STCW95. (AMSA Medical) and Current senior first and CPR. (Passenger shiptraining preferred if not are prepared to train.) We do in house.Cruise ship will cover flights to ship. The cruise liner mainly has Australianand Kiwi crew.
For the rightcandidates we will consider any eastern Australian large city as home Port. Wecover all crew flights required from any major home port to join and depart vessels.
Flights to theship will be covered from most Australian Cities to Darwin. You will berequired to work across all l three ships they have , 2 x 35m ships and one 63m ship
Local candidates will be givenpreference.
ITINERARY: Kimberley Coast,Tasmania, Great Barrier Reef, PNG, Islands of South Pacific and Indonesia, Asia
QUALIFICATIONS: STCW95(AMSAendorsed), RSA, Senior First Aid and CPR, AMSA Medical, F&B and Serviceexperience. We will organize AMSA medical if they do not have current,other requirements are Yellow Fever vaccination and ASSB
START DATE: September 11th2017 (leaving out of Broome) on Coral Discoverer - 63m expedition yacht inDarwin for Kimberley itinerary going into International Season. Roster lengthof 6-7 weeks

SALARY: Cruise attendantsare employed on a casual rate only starting at AUD ($1247.33)per 7 sea days.
