Hi guys hope you are all having a good season. I’ll be heading to Antibes on the 29th and will be staying at the crew grapevine while trying to progress my career from a shore based marine engineer to an onboard junior engineer. And will be looking for a junior engineer position as well as day work for around 4-6 weeks. I'll be happy to spend hours/days cleaning bilges ECT helping out the engineers while the yachts are in yards or still in the water. I'm aware that it’s the end of the med season so there will be a lot of yachts leaving for the Caribbean, but I’m also expecting a lot of yachts to stay in the med for refit work and even carrying on operating during the winter. I’m hoping that by having some marine engineering experience I will be of beneficial use to the yachts even if it’s for a day or two. Look forward to meeting likeminded crew and potential crew in the next coming weeks. So if anyone sees a short man with a daunted exasperation on his face feels free to say hi
