STCW 95, Basic = 3650 Peso = 86US$ Do you want to have a vacation and at the same time save on your STCW 95, BASIC … read on. I did my STCW 95, Basic in Cebu, the Philippines and it was quite fun and in English. Their course is called BST (Basic Safety Training) and spans over 7 days and covers all 4 elements: Personal Survival Techniques Fire Fighting and Fire Prevention Elementary First Aid Personal Safety and Social Responsibilities Call first: UC-METC Mambaling: 0063 -32 -262-8888 http://www.universityofcebu.net/p/academic-programs.html BST (Basic Safety Training) and ask them when the next course starts. As far as I know they have 2 courses /month. Cathay Pacific (via HK), Singapore airlines/silk air , Malaysia airlines and Korean airlines all fly into Cebu (CEB) or fly via Manila. For staying in Cebu : http://premierecitisuites.webs.com/ is one of my favorites. 995 pesos for a standard room. Book at least 2 weeks in advance. Taxi from the hotel to the school is about 3$US Read more about it at: http://www.engineerlars.com/stcw-less-than-100/
