There are several worldwide insurance plans that are underwritten by Lloyd's of London. Please call +1 954 323 6733 for more information. I'll be happy to help!

Lloyds is an underwriter from London who underwrite for many insurance carriers. You may mean IMG who has insurance plans for crew - groups or individuals. and there are several plans.

There are many brokerages or agents who sell IMG plans for mariners (and other plans.)  If you have a plan the Certificate or policy wording, it  is the guiding document for your plan.  If you have specific questions about a particular plan that what you need to refer to. However, the language is not easy for the layperson to understand. Your agent should be able to clarify the benefits of the plans they sell.  (That's why you need a good agent between you and the insurer!)

Unfortunately it is a tough document to get through but not knowing what you are covered for and any penalties or wait periods the plan may have can lead to unwelcome surprises.   email  anita@sevenseashealth.com if you have specific questions about a particular plan.

I was crew when I was seriously injured in a very bad car accident and could no longer work on boats  - after 12 years : (

I since became an agent and sincerely try to help crew with their insurance. Having had not 1 but 2 Emergency airlifts, one  might say i am the poster girl for health insurance!
