Our yacht is soon to come off the hard stand after 2 months in a refit yard. I have recently joined and have had my details added to the crew list. However I have not yet been given a crew contract or signed onto the ships books. Is a contract or signing on officially required for me to sail on the yacht or is the fact that that I am on the crew list all that is needed legally? The yacht is an under 3000gt private yacht.

Thank you
