Captains and crew from yachts exhibiting at the show or in
Monaco Bay enjoyed the wide range of daily entertainment that stretched late
into the evening at the 2017 Monaco Yacht Show Captain & Crew Lounge, which
took place from September 27–30, 2017.
For the fourth year, the C&C Lounge welcomed captains
and crew with top service and entertainment options during the show. This year,
Dockwalk once again partnered with
the Lounge as the exclusive yachting publication.
Attendance was high for all four days as captains and crew stopped by to enjoy
the offerings, which included complimentary breakfast and lunch daily and
refreshments all day, in addition to access to the area upstairs, which
provided comfortable seating for relaxation, free Wi-Fi, and games, plus happy
hours and massages to relax away from the buzzing show. Friday, day three,
culminated with the Captain & Crew Lounge Party on the terrace, which
encouraged crew to mingle with their peers, enjoy DJ Envy Soul, and participate
in a prize drawing. The luckiest guests took home beauty boxes from Daniele de
Winter; a GoPro from Dockwalk; a gourmet goodies box from Maison del Gusto; a
Porsche driving experience from Ports Toulon Provence; a dinner for two at Maya
Jah, a new Indian restaurant, by Only Yacht; a beautiful handheld compass from Sarp
Yachts; and a paddleboard from FunAir.
Entertainment options included a performance from Company B, a quartet from the
UK with a 1940’s swing, who helped to draw attention to hurricane relief
efforts in the hopes to turn the Caribbean back into a superyacht destination by
MYS and its partners are already looking to improve the
