Danang International Marina, in central Vietnam, provides the perfect base for all yachts to experience and cruise Vietnam and gives local access to the ancient village of Hoi An and the old capital of Hue. The marina has a co-operative arrangement with the local shipyard of Song Thu, which has its own tie-up with Amels Shipyard in Holland. All formalities, visas on arrival, supplies, tourist activities, incoming mail, engineering, day workers, anything needed, the Marina will supply. Specifically, this very first marina in Vietnam will bring down the previous high cost of visiting Vietnam and, enjoying the opposite season from Phuket, will provide a complementary and different experience for the other half of the year for yachts in Phuket, and a place to relax and maintain the yachts, ready for the owner's next visit.

Welcome to Superports!

With data on more than 600 Superyacht marinas, the Dockwalk team is pleased to present its online Superports directory.

Previously only available in print, the Superports directory contains information including contact details, facilities at the berth and local services. It also provides vital logistical information such as lat/long co-ordinates, berth numbers and sizes, prices and distances to local airports.

What's more, the whole thing works with Google mapping. Select a region or enter a location, rollover an anchor and see the name, location and photo of the marina. Click on it to load all the info on your chosen marina.

When you've chosen a marina, you'll notice a list of local services classifications in the right hand column. Right now it's fairly empty. That's where you come in.

We're building the site around our users, and we want to publish the things that are most useful to you. As you travel around the world, you can recommend the best bars, friendliest agents, most efficient electricians and the quickest taxis - to name but a few. And as the directory builds up, you can look up services that have been recommended by other Captains and Crew.

So if you've had a great night out, found the best surf shop or been impressed with an emergency repair, click on the Recommend A Local Service link and share it with crew around the world.
