Located on Puerto Rico’s southeast coast, just 45 minutes from San Juan, The Palmas del Mar Yacht Club is a state-of-the-art megayacht marina located in a gated luxury resort community, stretching over 2,700 acres. Bordered by 3 miles of sandy beaches and near the US National Park’s Rainforest, Palmas del Mar is just 15 miles from the Spanish Virgin Islands. Amidst other Puerto Rico marinas, PDMYC is distinguished by unspoiled fishing grounds, extensive gardens and lavish surroundings and is also home to the International Grand Slam Billfish Tournament. Not just an ordinary Puerto Rico marina, this one is run by a warm and welcoming family, looking to greet all boaters alike and welcome them to their paradise.

Welcome to Superports!

With data on more than 600 Superyacht marinas, the Dockwalk team is pleased to present its online Superports directory.

Previously only available in print, the Superports directory contains information including contact details, facilities at the berth and local services. It also provides vital logistical information such as lat/long co-ordinates, berth numbers and sizes, prices and distances to local airports.

What's more, the whole thing works with Google mapping. Select a region or enter a location, rollover an anchor and see the name, location and photo of the marina. Click on it to load all the info on your chosen marina.

When you've chosen a marina, you'll notice a list of local services classifications in the right hand column. Right now it's fairly empty. That's where you come in.

We're building the site around our users, and we want to publish the things that are most useful to you. As you travel around the world, you can recommend the best bars, friendliest agents, most efficient electricians and the quickest taxis - to name but a few. And as the directory builds up, you can look up services that have been recommended by other Captains and Crew.

So if you've had a great night out, found the best surf shop or been impressed with an emergency repair, click on the Recommend A Local Service link and share it with crew around the world.
