Ramsgate Royal Harbour Marina is situated on the southeastern corner of the English coast and is a popular stopover point for those sailing to and from mainland Europe. The harbour is well equipped with modern facilities, including a 40-tonne boat hoist and dedicated fuel barge offering both petrol and diesel. The 'Royal' in the name dates back to 1821, when King George IV gave Ramsgate the right to use this title. The marina hosts events including the Powerboat Grand Prix in July and Ramsgate Regatta Week in August. The marina is in walking distance of the town and its cosmopolitan seafront bars and restaurants.

Welcome to Superports!

With data on more than 600 Superyacht marinas, the Dockwalk team is pleased to present its online Superports directory.

Previously only available in print, the Superports directory contains information including contact details, facilities at the berth and local services. It also provides vital logistical information such as lat/long co-ordinates, berth numbers and sizes, prices and distances to local airports.

What's more, the whole thing works with Google mapping. Select a region or enter a location, rollover an anchor and see the name, location and photo of the marina. Click on it to load all the info on your chosen marina.

When you've chosen a marina, you'll notice a list of local services classifications in the right hand column. Right now it's fairly empty. That's where you come in.

We're building the site around our users, and we want to publish the things that are most useful to you. As you travel around the world, you can recommend the best bars, friendliest agents, most efficient electricians and the quickest taxis - to name but a few. And as the directory builds up, you can look up services that have been recommended by other Captains and Crew.

So if you've had a great night out, found the best surf shop or been impressed with an emergency repair, click on the Recommend A Local Service link and share it with crew around the world.
