Trieste is located between Venice and Croatia. With its international airport, Trieste is a valid alternative to waiting for guests in a crowded expensive, berth. Likewise, if you need a place to stay between charters. All of our berths are centrally located, meaning crew and guests alike can move around without any hassle. The most unique aspect of Trieste is its historic yachting tradition paired with its small town charm even though it has become megayacht destination. Maximillian of the Austrian Hapsburgs built his summer residence here, Miramare Castle. The castle, along with San Giusto Cathedral are two important sightseeing stops. During the summer, free concerts in the main piazzs all over town create a lovely Mediterranean atmosphere.

Welcome to Superports!

With data on more than 600 Superyacht marinas, the Dockwalk team is pleased to present its online Superports directory.

Previously only available in print, the Superports directory contains information including contact details, facilities at the berth and local services. It also provides vital logistical information such as lat/long co-ordinates, berth numbers and sizes, prices and distances to local airports.

What's more, the whole thing works with Google mapping. Select a region or enter a location, rollover an anchor and see the name, location and photo of the marina. Click on it to load all the info on your chosen marina.

When you've chosen a marina, you'll notice a list of local services classifications in the right hand column. Right now it's fairly empty. That's where you come in.

We're building the site around our users, and we want to publish the things that are most useful to you. As you travel around the world, you can recommend the best bars, friendliest agents, most efficient electricians and the quickest taxis - to name but a few. And as the directory builds up, you can look up services that have been recommended by other Captains and Crew.

So if you've had a great night out, found the best surf shop or been impressed with an emergency repair, click on the Recommend A Local Service link and share it with crew around the world.
