A new resort in the Whitsundays is in search of a top-notchChef who will be responsible for managing all aspects of the culinarydepartment and collaborates effectively with the rest of the team. Reportingdirectly to the General Manager and as part of the management team, one of thekey functions of the position is to foster a positive team culture and promoteemployee engagement.
You will be required to live on the island &accommodation provided.
Experience required: A minimum experience or 3 years in the capacityin an upscale property or Superyacht with a passion for local, seasonal,organic ingredients and wholesome innovative cooking. Familiarity of island resort or remoteoperations is an advantage. Menu creation, planning, food costing experience essential.
LOCATION: Private ISLAND in the Whitsundays
QUALIFICATIONS:A Diploma or Degree in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management or any related course from an accredited educational institution
START DATE: June 2019

SALARY: $75k + Super Annuation + Accommodation with no bills +Transfers
