Baltic Bay Kiel will be created in the Kiel Inner Fjord, right near the Kiel Yacht Club (KYC). It is the first harbour in the Baltic Sea Region specifically designed for superyachts. The marina will offer berths for yachts from 25m to 150m+ and facilities will include connections for telephone and fax, Internet, TV, and an adequate power supply (400 V, 50 Hz, 63-125 A alternating current). Easy accessibility to the yachts by owners and crew is provided, and international security standards are observed. Baltic Bay Kiel is expected to host Kiel Week and many international regattas. Exact mooring prices have not been determined yet as the marina is still in its development.

Welcome to Superports!

With data on more than 600 Superyacht marinas, the Dockwalk team is pleased to present its online Superports directory.

Previously only available in print, the Superports directory contains information including contact details, facilities at the berth and local services. It also provides vital logistical information such as lat/long co-ordinates, berth numbers and sizes, prices and distances to local airports.

What's more, the whole thing works with Google mapping. Select a region or enter a location, rollover an anchor and see the name, location and photo of the marina. Click on it to load all the info on your chosen marina.

When you've chosen a marina, you'll notice a list of local services classifications in the right hand column. Right now it's fairly empty. That's where you come in.

We're building the site around our users, and we want to publish the things that are most useful to you. As you travel around the world, you can recommend the best bars, friendliest agents, most efficient electricians and the quickest taxis - to name but a few. And as the directory builds up, you can look up services that have been recommended by other Captains and Crew.

So if you've had a great night out, found the best surf shop or been impressed with an emergency repair, click on the Recommend A Local Service link and share it with crew around the world.
