Vilanova Grand Marina is the first and only marina facility in the Mediterranean to be conceived and designed for superyachts, complete with a dockyard for specialist repair and refitting of large boats. Generously proportioned moorings for boats between 25 and 80 metres are available for sale and rental. Vilanova Grand Marina enjoys an excellent climate throughout the year and is close to the Garraf Nature Reserve, yet only 40 kilometres from Barcelona itself and 30 minutes' drive from Barcelona's international airport. Technical Services: 200t and 620t travel hoists Adjacent to the marina is Pendennis Vilanova, 30,000-square metre technical service centre run by Pendennis Shipyard. Capacity for small to medium scale refit, repair and maintenance works.

With data on more than 600 Superyacht marinas, the Dockwalk team is pleased to present its online Superports directory.

Previously only available in print, the Superports directory contains information including contact details, facilities at the berth and local services. It also provides vital logistical information such as lat/long co-ordinates, berth numbers and sizes, prices and distances to local airports.

What's more, the whole thing works with Google mapping. Select a region or enter a location, rollover an anchor and see the name, location and photo of the marina. Click on it to load all the info on your chosen marina.

When you've chosen a marina, you'll notice a list of local services classifications in the right hand column. Right now it's fairly empty. That's where you come in.

We're building the site around our users, and we want to publish the things that are most useful to you. As you travel around the world, you can recommend the best bars, friendliest agents, most efficient electricians and the quickest taxis - to name but a few. And as the directory builds up, you can look up services that have been recommended by other Captains and Crew.
