Built into the Bay of Pollença on Mallorca's north coast, most of Puerto Pollenca’s port installations are situated on an artificial island on the seaward breakwater. As this is also where large yachts berth, some form of shore transport is essential. Across the bay lies the Alcudia peninsula, and beyond it the huge Bay of Alcudia, with its many excellent beaches. The area is relatively quiet and peaceful in comparison to the busy urban surroundings of the capital city. There are plenty of leisure opportunities to be had in the area, including diving, canoeing, fishing and regatta sailing.

Welcome to Superports!

With data on more than 600 Superyacht marinas, the Dockwalk team is pleased to present its online Superports directory.

Previously only available in print, the Superports directory contains information including contact details, facilities at the berth and local services. It also provides vital logistical information such as lat/long co-ordinates, berth numbers and sizes, prices and distances to local airports.

What's more, the whole thing works with Google mapping. Select a region or enter a location, rollover an anchor and see the name, location and photo of the marina. Click on it to load all the info on your chosen marina.

When you've chosen a marina, you'll notice a list of local services classifications in the right hand column. Right now it's fairly empty. That's where you come in.

We're building the site around our users, and we want to publish the things that are most useful to you. As you travel around the world, you can recommend the best bars, friendliest agents, most efficient electricians and the quickest taxis - to name but a few. And as the directory builds up, you can look up services that have been recommended by other Captains and Crew.

So if you've had a great night out, found the best surf shop or been impressed with an emergency repair, click on the Recommend A Local Service link and share it with crew around the world.
