Just 15 kilometres north of Cairns, Half Moon Bay Marina is set in an idyllic location in Yorkey's Knob. Embraced by a stunning backdrop of rainforest mountains, the bay offers direct access to the Great Barrier Reef, a mere 28 kilometres to the northeast, providing unlimited opportunities for black marlin, game and reef fishing, snorkelling and scuba diving, or just lazing around on a pristine sandy cay. The marina is protected from the prevailing southeast trade winds by Yorkey's Knob, a natural headland rising some 100m above sea level. Two breakwaters protect the north and northwest sectors of the marina.
