Limassol Marina is a modern world-class superyacht destination built in the centre of Cyprus’ most vibrant city, Limassol. Offering everything you may need from a winter berthing location or a transit port on the gateway to the Mediterranean, Limassol Marina truly offers a home away from home. Limassol has a strong maritime history, with the city’s old port situated right next door from which trade has been conducted for centuries. The marina forms part of a national strategy for development of nautical tourism across the island and represents Cyprus’ first step into the superyacht industry. Cyprus’ strategic location and warm winter climate, make it a very attractive year round destination for superyachts — whether cruising, wintering or as a safe and convenient transit port while navigating in and out of the Med via the Suez Canal.
The project was designed by French masterplanner Xavier Bohl, who spent time travelling all over the island to ensure that its rich history of traditional architecture inspired the marina’s design. From the shops to the restaurants to the villas and apartments, the marina’s award-winning architecture blends seamlessly with the surrounding old town of Limassol and provides a truly unique atmosphere and character to the marina.
Limassol Marina, sporting a 5 Gold Anchor Platinum award, offers 650 berths, of which 150 are private berths adjoined to the marina’s luxury villas. It is now operating at full capacity with berths for up to 110m.
The marina hosts a huge range of bars, cafes, restaurants, a yacht club, a gym and spa and well-known retail outlets. All offer beneficial rates and services to berth holders and residents of the marina. In addition, and perhaps most importantly, the marina offers a dedicated concierge service and professional operations team to assist with anything and everything that a superyacht owner or crew member may require throughout their stay. Regular crew events and activities are proving popular throughout the year.
Limassol Marina is as centrally located as is possible to be in Cyprus! Right in the city centre, a short stroll takes you into the buzz of Limassol’s thriving old town and the heartbeat of the city’s social and entertainment scenes, or along the peaceful waterfront promenades dotted with beachfront cafes and restaurants. Drydocking within one nautical mile and easy access and international connection is provided by the country’s two international airports — within 45min drive East and West of the marina, which itself sits in the centre of the country’s most popular cruising grounds.
The Troodos mountain range is accessed within a 30min drive North out of the city, offering panoramic views of the whole island. With Europe’s largest casino resort, luxury golf resorts and several more waterfront property projects coming, Limassol is a destination of choice for the discerning yacht owner or their crew looking for a new superyacht hub in the Eastern Mediterranean.
