STP Shipyard Palma is expanding its facilities to meet the rising demand for superyacht refit and repair services. With an investment of nearly eight million euros, the yard is adding five new berths capable of accommodating yachts up to 110 metres LOA, increasing its total area from 130,000 m² to 162,000 m².

The first phase, already underway, focuses on preparing the new docking area and upgrading infrastructure for seamless service. The expansion includes reorganized work zones and a covered space for mast repairs to enhance efficiency and service quality.

Sustainability is integral to the project, with plans to install solar panels and energy storage systems to reduce the yard’s carbon footprint and support eco-friendly practices.

The expansion is set to benefit the local economy with job creation and increased economic activity, further solidifying Mallorca's standing in the yachting sector. CEO Joan Rosselló noted that the new berths will address a long-standing demand for larger yacht accommodations.

The new berths are expected to be operational by late 2024, with the entire project scheduled for completion by spring 2025. Through this development, STP aims to reinforce its position as a trusted name in superyacht refit services, appealing to owners seeking high-quality facilities and expertise.
