It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Chef Patti Scott on August 11, 2020. She spent more than 20 years as a yacht chef, including time aboard M/Y Lady Alison and M/Y Stoneface, which summered in Nantucket and made small excursions to other parts of the New England area.
Judy Felchner had the pleasure of working alongside Scott on board the two yachts, and says Scott was loyal, working long term for both families who owned the vessels, and they loved her.
“She was caring, talented, fun and funny, and loved to entertain people,” Felchner says. “It is so hard to believe she is gone. We will miss her very much.”
After leaving the industry, Scott relocated to Hot Springs, Arkansas, and served as a realtor and broker.
Her obituary states that: “Patti lived life to the fullest and never met a stranger. Her greatest enjoyment was cooking for her friends and family and delighting them with her culinary cuisine.”
