About 70 talented crewmembers around the world sent over 190 photos and 13 videos for the Burgess Crew Photographer and Videographer of the Year in association with Dockwalk competition. We were blown away by all the entries, and the judges from BlueiProd, Burgess, Dockwalk, and YachtieWorld were faced with a difficult task to select a winner to be announced on September 25 at the Monaco Yacht Show.
The winning photo is Glacial Edge by JP Myburgh, and the winning video is Alaska with M/Y Revelry by Nina Wilson. The photo and video winners will receive a GoPro bundle worth EUR 800 and features across Burgess, Dockwalk, and Boat International channels. The photo will even be the cover of Dockwalk’s December 2021 issue, along with interviews with the winner about their entry.
Crew were asked to share their yachting adventures through the lens of Experience, Exploration, Expertise (the three words that encapsulate the Burgess difference) to frame their unique take on life at sea.
